I've been struggling with my newly acquired Kinyon hammer. It hit hard, but I could not get enough control with it for softer blows. So I've been doing heavy moving on the hammer and everything else by hand.
I want to use some tooling with the hammer so slid the rocker valve all the way up in order to see how much clearance I had between dies. Lo and behold, the hammer responds perfectly in this manner!
The tup dances and I can just have it touch the work, hit it hard, or anything in between! Fantastic.
Took me two months to figure thus one out by accident!
