AK bayo, beveled on one side of the blade, 6" long with a clip point that's also beveled on one side.

Black synthetic grips and sheath. sheath and blade combine to serve as an insulated wire cutter. Wondering how it holds an edge.

The one I have (Czech or Hungarian- I forget) doesen't have much of an edge to speak of. It will handle some rough work, but the steel isn't of such a great quality that it will take & hold a fine edge. As always, YMMV.

Hi Sheepsfoot!

The qulity of the AK 47 Bayo depends on the model you get and the production it comes from. German made ones out of the early eighties are very sharp, but with the decline of the Red block quality of steel declined as well. I don´t know any marks to recognise good ones, but I will check around here in Germany.

Keep sharp!
