Jokey word for short and thick. The BK2 is a tad shorter than this but has a 1/4'' thickness. Its profile is like the BK-9 in wideness. Its kinda strange that it has a such a short blade with a belly of a chopper. Never looked right to me. And it weighs a solid pound, like an ounce less than the 9. Though at a 1/4'' thickness with the saber grind, it should wedge wood pretty well... wood that it could span. The AK47-F has a narrower profile to it that I'd say puts it between the classes of the BK15-17, and the BK2/ESEE5:
BK-16 weighs about 6 ounces
BK-2 / ESEE 5 weighs 16 ounces
so at 11 ounces, add 5, subtract 5, AK47-F is literally smack in the middle of the two, as I have said.
It definitely seems bigger in the pictures, than when you actually have it in hand. If I owned a camera, I would have long hooked yall up with hand pics.
