Ak-47..

Not only is that stupid but I think it makes CS look stupid. Not that they didn't already but that just reafirms it.

I did not mean to direct the jerk it symbol that I posted on this message earlier at the poster. It was meant as a critisism of Cold Steel for basically stealing an iconic name and registering as their own. Sorry if it was taken otherwise.

Apologies, Vince

doesn't matter..... CS is not even in the same realm as Busse Combat... its like comparing skateboards and Cadillacs.

^ AAAAAWWWE....you used the jerk-it smile.

Doesn't Mikhail Kalashnikov have the trademark on that? That's like CS getting the trademark on Colt 45, M16, etc.

agreed, but not dissimilar from leatherman (the multi tools, not dwayne) trademarking "wave". emerson now has to call their opener the "emerson opener". doesn't matter it has been called the wave for years, or that there are no similarities between the two products.

I am so glad I don't make my living in the knife or gun industry. The back-stabbing and thievery are ridiculous! Guess we will have to call it the American Kensei!!!

When I think of Cold Steel I think of Mall Ninjas.

lol... i dont have anything against the company or their products per se... it's just that they dont produce a product with comparable quality or value.

i have purchased products from them and have been happy for the most part.

it is apropriate that Lee aspire to be more like Jerry. Jerry has a better product.

Kalashnikov should kick Lynn Thompson in the nuts for putting his name on a Taiwan AUS8A piece of junk.

The difference with Boker is:

"Boker has secured exclusive rights from Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov to produce a series of knives with design elements that are based on his famed Automat Kalashnikov rifle."

Is is a tribute knife so to speak:)

Cool, Thanks for the info!!
