AK bowie and some rumbling

Welcome to Uncle Bill's cantina Jelly Fish! Another Khukuri lover from Japan! Maybe You,WrongFriend , and I can meet in person during my annual trip to Japan!

WrongFriend, I'm glad that you received your H.I. Bird & Trout knife. Was customs easy this time around? Now, I know I could get some of my Khukuris into Japan, so I can have them there also. See you two soon!

Broken Arrow, thanks for your welcome.
That would be great if we could meet during your trip to Japan.

Caution!!:My english is VERY poor.You'll have to go easy on me.

Welcome, Jelly Fish. You are being very modest regarding your English. It appears to be much better than that of some of my daughter's friends who were born here in the US. Then again, this is NYC so they probably have a valid excuse.

WrongFriend, to give you another stat, the handle on my 12" Sirupati that was made by Sher is 4" from the front of the bolster to the back of the butt plate. As I noted elsewhere, I found this to be a bit too short for my medium size hands so I made the modifications shown.

Perrin's griffes, many khukuris...I envy you!

Welcome Jelly Fish,

I had the pleasure of visiting that shop while in Paris (visiting with Fred Perrin,no less.

)

They saw a one of a kind knife that Fred had presented me with and wanted to buy it from me, but needless to say, the answer was no.

I think you'll find this an interesting place to hang out, to say the least.

I don't know about doing demo's but I've heard I "volunteered" to buy the beer! Sounds good to me, I'll go one or two rounds!

Now...let's see...hmmm...what can I voluteer my good buddy Jimmy for... I got it! I just know Jimmy would LOVE to get the snacks, you know, fried motzarella, chips, dips, (chains and whips too if your into that sort of thing) a steak or four! "A medium rare Filet Mignon here waiter!"

Yeah, that sounds good!! And, of course, Jimmy does not have HIKV. He told me so himself! He also mentioned that he was a helpless old man... Well, I'm a little to old to believe in fairy tales!

I wonder where RayC has disappeared to? If this thing is going to work in FL we have to get started and my poor pal, Ray, is stuck with the management down there as I can't do it from here. I did a check on tickets and they are getting sold out. I guess March is high tourist season in so. FL.
