Ok, well everyone here post nice picts of their guns and stuff... I just got my very first handgun so I can be cool like everyone else here! So I took some pictures of my Desert Eagle .50AE in brush crome and thought I'd share. Nice for a first handgun eh? Don't let the pictures fool you, that's a pretty big gun, it's just next to an AK47 is all.
I thought it would be a nice photo to share with my AK47, and since this is the Busse forum, need to get a Busse in there:)

Your first handgun is a Desert Eagle?! Good grief! That adds a whole new meaning to "go big or go home!"

Yeah, I thought a .500 Smith & Wesson would be a good handgun to start with, but I decided to go with a .454 Casull instead.:D

Yeah right! My first handgun is a .380 acp.

I must say. I'm jealous. Nice toys you have there!

Made in the USA?

Did something change? I bought mine last spring, and it was made in Israel..

Actually, the .454 is not bad in a full sized revolver. If I had the cash right now I would totally take the .460 S&W. Much better ballistics, flatter shooting, and much more versatile. You can load it with the the full power .460, or move down to the "middle" .454's or you can shoot .45 longcolt. Through the same gun.

BigFattyT,

I have a 460V (ported 5" barrel). You are right. It is a very versatile handgun. The 200gr. hornadys don't kick that bad. I've heard the 360 grainers can take out an elephant. The 45 LC's kick less than a 40 S&W.

Mr. Kang,

Awesome gear.

I love my Desert Eagle.

Great combo!

I sold mine because I hated having to order 50 ae, my stores never carried it. I'm considering picking up another in .44 mag though, I loved that ridiculous gun.

Great pair!

That looks like a banned AK, or did they make a factory full convex? I'm anxiously awaiting my AK (it's in the mail), black on black and tan. Think I may be sold on satin convex now though....

Nice gun! One of those I see at the stores and want, but just can't justify buying, beyond the cool factor.

"The fact that you've got "Replica" written down the side of your gun. And the fact that I've got "Desert Eagle point five O" written on the side of mine" -Vinnie Jones, from the movie Snatch

+1 on the 454 casull. 2.5" barrell on mine though, no fun to plink with full 360 grain loads, 45 long Colt is a blast with it. Being able to switch cartridges is awesome.

Thanks for everyone's kind words. No, that is not a Bann AK, it is from Cupidganzaaaaaa 2009, staight from Busse with factory full convex and black/tan G10 handles. Love that thing.
Yes the gun was made in the USA, just like the AK47:) Seriously though, it is an older model, I got the box with paperwork and everthing. When I got the gun, I went and got some ammo, wow, it's not cheap. A box of 20 cost $26 plus tax. But they are huge bullets, it's mind blowing how much damage that thing could do...

Good stuff!
I love the AK's point. It looks like a Shobu style, kind of!

They were made by Saco Defense in Maine from 1996 to 2000. Before and after, they were made in Israel bi Israel Military Industries (now Israel Weapons Industries).
