Sal, just a observation, NRA just won a very hot legal battle in Georgia. By a 44-11 vote, lawmakers on Monday approved legislation that would prohibt local governments from suing gun makers(ref CNN Web Site). This case is important to us (knife collectors) because it proves that the law system in this country (USA) works. I have readed alot of grumbling about bad knife laws from all over the world. But the bottomline from this legal battle is that "the squeaky wheel will get the grease". If we could followed the same formula like NRA, band together(i.e. knife makers, collectors, clubs) with a creditable type of leadership (AKTI)then we can educate the public in winning their votes for pro-knife issues. Now why am I so hot about this issue? Because everytime I get sent to some distant out the country assignment for 3 to 4 years and then come back, I am overwhelmed in how our country has progressed good and bad. The last thing I want to see hit the USA is overreactive knife laws such as the ones that are implaced for example in Australia, Canada and Sweden.
Thanks, Endre
