al mar blade in blackjack knife

I need a little help,I bought a blackjack archangel with an Al Mar blade from the editor of blade magazine in 1988-1989 and was told by him that less than 100 of these knives got out of the Kencrest corp. factory in Seki Japan before Al Mar found out it about it and stopped it.I know the story is true and wondering if anyone would know what it is worth,the only one I saw sold went for 1200.00 in the nid 90's.Any info would be great. thank you
 
The story of the BJ Archangel with the fighter blade being stopped by Al Mar as it was too close to the AM Phantom is true.
But Kencrest has no factory they were the contractor.
