Al Mar SERE converted to double action by Butch Vallotton. This knife has not been carried or sharpened and has been stored open. It shows some very light handling marks but they are very insignificant...SOLD

Ox Forge Black Knife...I carried this knife a few times so the pocket clip has a few scratches, but they are minor. The blade still retains the original edge and has no signs of use. It has also been stored open, original box included...$225 shipped

Function of each of these knives is flawless!

Sorry for the pic...I will happily send better ones to anyone interested.

I thought the "black" knives were devoid of markings of origin . what's the blade steel on that one ?

The original Black knives were sterile. Charlie Ochs marks most of them now so buyers know they are getting the real deal. The Black knife was prone to cheap knock-offs. Current production is even on the government GSA. The blade steel is 44C stainless.
