The first Al Mar automatic, from the original production run, sequential production number 158. Blade marked "Al Mar-USA" on one side, "Balisong" on the other. Blade is ATS-34 with 50% serrated edge. New in box w/ nylon sheath, absolutely as-new condition, never used, never sharpened. Purchased new from dealer stock at date of release. Photos available to email. Unable to ascertain current value, asking $5000 US. Will entertain reasonable/realistic counter-offers. Sales of automatic knives are banned by traditional online venues, which is the reason it is posted here. Prefer local cash sale, or Paypal. For quality assurance, please check eBay feedback for "black-jacks-revenge". Thanks!

Hello Vikingr, you need to read Blade Forums "Rules for the Exchange forums" para 3. It specifically states "Post Prices". This is not a auction site. Stating you will sell to the highest offer is considered a auction.

I think you must have made a typo and added an extra couple of zeros to the asking price. You might want to correct that.

As was pointed out previously, the "rules" stipulated it was necessary to post a price. So now there's a price. It did not stipulate said price needed a basis in reality. It is as relevant as the "extra couple of zeros" dreamer's comment. A mint-condition standard-issue Al Mar Pathfinder (sans box) recently sold on eBay for over $400. And a Gunstock folder in similar condition for $130. This knife is more valuable than either one of those. Please be intelligent, informed, and courteous in your posts.

Unacceptable. That's not a price, it's an invitation to an auction. Auctioning items is specifically disallowed.

Do not play games with the clear intent of the rules. This thread is closed, and will remain closed. When you are ready to present the item for sale at a meaningful price, you may repost it.
