There are some threads about these knives but there are not a lot of pics available.

I have requested people that say they own these knives to make and post some pics but they don't reply:grumpy:.

So i just had to do it my self and bought me a Falcon.
Received it today and made some pics.

Have not used it so can't say anything about that but will do that if it has got some usage.

So here are some pics of my first Al Mar:D.

thanks for posting, I wondered what the brown would look like, do your photos show the true color of the scales ? great looking knife by the way.

Thanks for the pics.I've been interested in these since they came out.I've had the black ones, seems like a nice change.

Thanks guys.
It's a lovely knife and the brown is something different.

I thinks so.
These are outside pics and there was not a lot of sun.
So i would say good weather for taking some pics.

But if you want i can take some pics with another knife that you know so you can see if the color is real.

What "more known" brands do you have?

Thanks for the offer, but all I have are black, yellow and green, you convinced me to get one ordered, it looks great and a nice change from black. I am thinking these are limited.

Ive carried Al Mar's in AUS-8 for years and have come to really like it for a ss. :thumbup:Must be a good heat treat and of course the edge geometry.--KV

These brown ones are a "special" run. Talon blade only but in the 3 size's.
Hawk, Falcon and the Eagle.
So it will be limited.

I can't really tell anything about aus 8 because i received it today.
But i can tell it's very sharp out of the box.

The action was a little stiff but with a drop of oil and some playing it's got a lot smoother. And i only handled it for some hours now.
So it do think i will become smoother.
But this knife has no liners, nog washers so it's blade on micarta.

I got the Hawk Ultralight flat grind a week ago and liked it so much that I ordered the Eagle in brown micarta. This is one sweet, sexy knife!!!! The one I got is stamped 181 of 200 on the blade opposite the logo. The OP's falcon doesn't have this stamp.... Why? I love the brown micarta but I think I prefer the flat grind over the talon and they aren't offering it in the brown. Anyway, I have a Falcon in flat grind on the way and I will post several pics of all 3 next week when it arrives. Let me just say that the Eagle is MASSIVE compared to the Hawk!

I haven't owned these long enough to abuse, but I'm fairly certain that they'll withstand quite a bit, even if they are pinned construction. They definitely have the feel of high quality!

My only gripe is that since the Hawk is so small (deceptively so) it hurts your finger after opening it a lot. I've heard they get smoother with time though. The Eagle opens lightning fast due to the weight of the blade.

The Eagle seems slightly large for EDC. The falcon will probably hit the sweet spot for me. I carry an Emerson daily though, so this is my extra!

Looks like another great knife from Al Mar.

The handle color is darker than I thought and the slim profile almost reminds me of a sodbuster or a country cousin.

They must be so confident of their tolerances to offer it in pin construction like that.

Where is a good place to get one of these?

+1 on a eagle brown in flat grind. perhaps in vg-10 too...

Nice knife man, I think Al Mar puts out some of the best quality out of all the common production companies. I really like the color on that run too!
