Al Quada Behead a south korean.

Makes me look back with fondness on when all we had to worry about was whether the president got head instead of how many people have lost theirs

HD, I do like you and hope that people don't jump all over you for that post, but you're way out in left field here. Terrorism didn't become a problem after Bush took office, it just became a more visible problem. USS Cole, Beirut anyone? The difference then was that fewer civilians were being killed. These people want to kill us, regardless of what we do to appease them OR anger them. They'll kill as many as they can either way.

I'll agree with you there! More visible and I sure don't like what I see! ;)

The new Afghan army has a plan in place. Last week, Taliban beheaded an Afghan translator and an Afghan soldier. The Afghani army beheaded 4 Taliban the next day.

This quote from my friend, who is South Korean, may contain good analysis: "They messed with wrong stock: koreans have no liasons with Middle East, or their cause, and neither they are afraid to see beheadings on front pages. Instead of getting intimidated, they will get resentful. This beheading was a gift to Bush, and a big mistake by Al Quada."

I agree and I think thats why Al-Jeezera wouldn't show him getting killed like the Americans. As Al Quida's propaganda devise I think they decided it was a bad idea.

Good on them! A head (or2) for a head!

I agree on the S Korea thing.

Well, these radical muslims are definitely falling for the old 700 year cycle of islam: grow and spread, piss of the world, get hunted to near extinction, then cry "genocide!", thw world backs off, and it begins again.

Happened in 700, 1400, and they're on par fer 2100!

If someone out there is familiar enough with the way these guys think, tell me this:

I've heard that they believe that if you die with an appendage missing, you won't have in the muslim heaven. If you are beheaded then you won't make it into the muslim heaven, or will enter minus your head, Something along those lines,

Can anyone explain, verify, or dispell this? Maybe it might give us a better idea how they see things.

Hmm, there must be some kind of exception.

What is a suicide bomber that dies and arrives in heaven as a chunky red mist going to do with a bunch of virgins?

I think the stuff in Saudi is equally directed at the government there--the terrorists aren't getting as much as the used to out of the current government, and a large population of unemployed as grown up at the same time government handouts have decreased while the country remains very dependent upon foreign labor. Plus most of the 700 odd members of the royal family don't exactly practice the fundamentalist religion in their personal behavior.

They were hoping for a "twofer". Clearly didn't get what they wanted from Korea, what they get in S.A. is sorta still open.
