Rather than me describing, here is copy of email message from Al after I asked if this was genuine because I had never seen knife only stamped "WARREN"

That is a skinner I made in November 1987 in Bend, Oregon just before I moved to California. It has a blade of 440C stainless steel (440C is written under the serial #423). The blade had a mirror finish on it when I made it. It has a brass guard and an elephant ivory overlay on Hawaiian koa. The scrimshaw was done by Linda A. Petree. This knife was most likely purchased in a shop in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
It is good to see it again. Thanks!

Knife was purchased in Hawaii during a boar hunt but was never used. Knife still has mirror finish although there are some very faint lines. Some wear showing on sheath.
