This knife has been a labour of love. A long time fan of the television show Supernatural I have often admired Ruby's Knife, the recurrent weapon whose form straddles traditional European and American design so neatly. My version excludes the Daemonic Runes featuring instead a plain blade adorned with the cross of Alae Swords. I have left the blade butterknife sharp as I realise this is an heirloom that will likely not be used for hunting or similar tasks, so for safety a blunt edge is preferrrable, though please note that it would have effected the aesthetics of the knife if I blunted the point too, so the tip is sharp and must be treated with care.
