Selling my custom Alan Davis EDC fixed blade using 1095 steel, and clay tempered for a traditional Japanese hamon. The blade is polished then etched to enhance the already beautiful hamon.
It uses maple burl handles, with mosaic pin and a black spacer. It has filework on the spine.
I have sharpened and stropped the knife to about 20 degrees-+ and is very sharp.
The blade is used, and shows a few scratches and signs of wear however is still beautiful, and have received many compliments when I carry this knife.
The knife ships with a made-by-maker Alan Davis 8 oz leather, right hand carry sheath. The sheath does it's function well.
This is by far one of the most astonishing custom knives I've had made.
Blade is 4" and I would estimate a total overall length or around 7"~.
