I coveted a knife that Alan Davis made for willydigger last year and I ordered a similar one. It's absolutely spectacular and it's yet another testament to Alan's incredible talents. It should be delivered pretty soon and it will top my EDC list.

Thanks, Alan, for your amazing efforts!

What a looker! Seriously, that is possibly the most beautiful knife I've ever seen. The pattern and overall shape of the blade is fantastic. I am officially jealous :p

That would be a perfect EDC folder for me, so you should just go ahead and hand it over ;)

That is a great combo of blade shape, handle material and blade material.

I covet.

Tasmaniac your one fortunate man to have a knife like that in your future. She reeks quality, and the detailed work I find intoxicating. Good for you- enjoy.

Yes, there is something about his work that sets him apart from everybody else, not necesarily better, just different, unique, and beautiful. I have been watching the folder section of the custom makers "for sale" knives for a while waiting for just the right one to come up. They are all amazing and sell quickly, and for good reason. I may have to go this same route and comission one for myself.

As far as the OP's new knife is concerned, an absolute stunner. That just reinforces my love for Alan's wrok. Outstanding!

That's a great looking knife! I envy you... I just lost one of my Alan Davis knives =(

I gave away two of them to a couple of very good friends but I'm deeply regretting that decision. They would have been happy with anything and now I only have 3 AD knives remaining when this one arrives. Hopefully Alan will whip up some more Misery Whips :)

As Accelerator mentioned, there is just something about his work that set him apart. I have one of his Ti-framelocks with Alabama damascus and it is fantastic. My wife doesn't take much interest in my knives, but said this one was very individual. She usually never says anything. And this is with knives from Yuna, J.W. Smith, Lerch, and George! Yeah, his work is good. So good, that I have another on order.

Enjoy.

WillyDigger liked the Cold Steel Tuff-Lite so much, he commissioned a custom job by Alan Davis.

Just in case you're curious where it came from...

I have a couple of Anan's knives also. One in a folder flipper in tasmanian eucalyplus burl with cpm m4. A Fantastic knife.

Alan's talent as a knife maker never ceases to amaze me....shy's the limit...........

I really like the folder Alan for you. A little small for me but a really cool knife.

I love that filework on the spine and backspacer.
Yea I'd have to say so, spot on to a tuff lite. haha!
This is one of those instances where you see a hot girl with something and it makes you want it. Well seeing the closeness of the Alan Davis to the tuff lite makes me want one. Well both knives actually but the Tuff lite is a more achievable goal lol.
