Lightly carried and slightly used Alan Davis Folder. Mostly for food prep, opening mail, breaking down some boxes, cut some rope, and a few other things. This is a fantastic knife.I have touched up the edge on a strop using 1500 and 2000 , then some compounds. It’s cut a few minor things. I broke the carbon fiber clip when it got caught on a table. I replaced it with an extra Emerson pocket clip I had. I still have the stock clip that’s broken. Alan said he would make another CF clip for 20$, but I just never got around to it.
I love this knife and just need some money. But, if it doesn’t sell soon, I’m going to keep it.
Here are the specs below.
Blade Length: Just over 3.5 inches
OAL: 8-1/4
Blade: 52100 Tool Steel with Alan's amazing parkerized finished.
Handles: Thick weave Carbon Fibre
Clip: Carbon Fibre (broken and replaced with an Emerson black)
Liners: Titanium (ano'd ice blue with some hints of purple)
Lock-up is solid and right where it should be.
Spacers: Titanium (ano'd blue)
This knife runs on bearings, and is as smooth as it gets. Alan's work is second to none.
