Blade is ss ,hand rubbed finish,nice grind and sharp. Jimped spine ,nice thumbstud. Smooth as glass opening ,rock solid lock up,blade centers closed .I think the micarta is old Westinghouse Ivory , paper base ,that has taken on a nice color. Super light weight ,a real nice folder from a great maker. A good one to carry. It has been carried and used but is in very nice condition
