This is a listing for a 4"x7" bag of dried chaga fungus harvested from living birch trees in Alaska. It works great as tinder to catch a spark when starting a fire using flint and steel. You can use it like char cloth but it gives you more time to work – I recently caught a spark and let a piece smolder for about 15 minutes before attempting to make a fire with it. Some pieces catch a spark easier than others but I pick out the ones that will work best for catching a spark and use the rest for tea. These are decent size chunks but sizes do vary. They can be broken or cut into smaller pieces or into thin wafers. You can make tea with it as well and I have separate prices for that posted down below.

$22 shipped USPS Ground Advantage in USA. I can take ApplePay, Venmo or PayPal.
$19 ea. for additional bags (helps to combine shipping).

Scroll down for prices and photos for chunks or ground chaga for tea.

Flint and steel, knives, tins, etc. not included. This listing is for the chaga pieces only.

It's awesome stuff. It takes some practice but I can get a fire going in 2-3 minutes. Here's a video:

Chaga chunks for tea
These are much more dense than the ones I sell for fire tinder. You can brew tea in a crockpot or instapot keeping the temperature below 180˚ so that you don't destroy the beneficial compounds contained in the chaga. You can also make tinctures using the chunks; there are good instructions and instructional videos online.

8 oz - $22 shipped
1 lb - $32 shipped
2 lb - $50 shipped
