Alaska Traveling Trough Show August 13th

Let's see, if I leave now, and have about $1000 to spend on gas, I can make it there by the 13th :D

For those of us who have never made it to Blade or any other Busse show, can you give me some idea of how this works? Is it "everyone rush the table and buy right away!" Or do you do a raffle for a chance to buy? I've see post of 'rushing the trough,' but not exactly sure how that works. I'd love to buy some infi this trip, and plan to be there early, but will I need to be throwing elbows?
 
From recent personal experience, I recommend wearing a helmet...and some pads. Kevlar wouldn't be a terrible idea either...

And I left all that stuff back home with my deployment gear. Poor planning on my part. :)
