Alaska Silver Salmon:) Hmm Hmm Good!!!

Oh man, great fish.......looks delicious!

I'm so hungry now......

Nice MrS and HOGFSH!

Early August? That seems early for Silvers. What part of AK are you in?

I love fishing for Silvers with a fly rod, more so than big trout.

Great.............. now I'm hungry.:D Nice story, just how I like them. Food and knives.

I love Alaska in the summer, especially Kenai Peninsula.
Winter is tough though, at least on the boats.

This is from my last trip to the Togiak --- I NEED to go back next year. It is such a blast to catch big fish on a fly. This one was on the large side for that river 16-17 lbs. He was a FATTY. It was released after the photo.

(The right side of the photo looks funny because I quickly got rid of the person next to me.)

Great pics, delicious!!! Did you actually use the FSH-LE to filet that fish. You must have it razor sharp, it's a long way from a filet knife.

Hot chow!
"They" also say that Salmon is the best form of protein your body can get. Mmmmmm!

STOP teasing me....hahahaha I dont get back up there until next year:eek:. Great pics man. I LOVE FISH!!!

Man I haven't been fishing for at least 12 years! I can't wait until my boy is a little bit bigger. He's good and smart now, but still doesn't quite follow directions all the time and I sure don't want to have to dig a hook out of either of us just yet.
