I've got 2 Alaskan model knives available- these are the refinement of the model that I submitted last year for the WSS forum camp knife challenge.
The first one is a compact version, OAL is 11 inches, with a blade length of 6.5 inches.
Steel is 1080, 1/8 inch thick, with a smoothed forge finish ont he flats and a convexed scandi grind on the blade. Knife is fully quenched with a differential temper.
Handle is crotch cut maple with stainless pin and tubing stock. Fore and aft lanyard holes.
Sheath is an Explorer model, with fully adjustable (and removable) belt hanger.
Asking $195, SOLD
Second one is a larger variant- 13 inches Overall, with a blade length of 7.75 inches. 1080 steel, 1/8 inch thick, with a 600 grit hand rubbed smoothing to the forge finish on the flats. Differentail temper and convexed scandi grind. Filework on the long thumbramp, too.
Maple crotch scales are extra wide on this one, a very large handle. Stainless tubing pins throughout.
Black explorer model sheath.
