Alaskan photos - Dial up beware

I went to Alaska a few years ago to follow my Grandfather's journal from when he lived there in the 30's. Here's a few of the pictures I took along the way.

I used a Canon 1D and mostly a Canon 200/1.8 lens with a 1.4x and 2x teleconverter.

Thanks a lot, I love especially the third one, looks almost like an Ansel Adams.
 
Simply awesome :eek: ! Thank you very much for sharing these pictures with us. They surely make me think that I definitely have to visit Alaska! It is amazing that even nowadays one can encounter these scenes in and around Anchorage, AK:thumbup: !
 
Thank you for the photos! I am hoping to move permanently to Alaska in 10-15 years. My job keeps me elsewhere for now and I have to resort to books, videos and the Internet to get my dose of Alaskana.
 
I want to be a nature / professional photographer very very much. please help now that you've hooked me.
