They turned out even better than I had hoped for. The pictures on the website were good, but they were a little dark. They could have used a little more light to show the intricate burl pattern.

thats a hard wood too isnt it? Its not the same stuff they use for tobacco pipes i think.

Pipes are usually (but not always) made from briar.
