I just looked at my calendar and saw that I put a note "Check for new Albers knife" today. Something told me that it was going to happen this week. However my intuition was a day late. :\

The micarta looks amazing but in the split second my brain settled on the spalted oak. Really looking forward to my first Albers from a drop!

I'm just hoping some day Mr. Eric will start a list of all of us hoping to get a knife made by him. When your name comes up you then have a chance to buy a knife. Until then I don't even bother.

I *think* that there were only 2 knives up when I got to the page and I was fortunate enough to grab both DIW and bocote. Having said that, if I could’ve had choice I’d have gone with wildebeest and Westinghouse. If anyone is up for a trade on those two please reach out.

dont get me wrong, I have several of ea42 's knives pre and post going independent, i do love them, ive bought them and gifted them to friends as well. But i also love my end caps.

I'm jealous as hell of those Westinghouses and I'm not ashamed to admit it! The white oak is also a total stunner!

I've been dragging mine (maroon micarta) thru a ton of squirrel guts. The edge retention on this little blade is off the chain, especially when comparing it to Case and GEC. I have managed to slice open the back of my right thumb and it did not take much; I tell you what.

Just a fantastic pocketknife. I baby my Hinderers and let the Albers do all the dirty work!
