What's the closed length on the lambsfoot looking like, Eric? Same as the straight jacks, or did it come out different?

The new J.B.F Champlin, love new knives with history, the wood was salvaged from the attic of the old Cattaraugus factory by Galvanic. Great work Eric.

Outstanding! The covers on your sample are gorgeous, and I love the shield. Do you have one of Eric's jacks to compare it to? ea42 ea42 is it the same blade and handle pattern?

Thank you Eric, I was curious, is it harder to work with old wood like this?

Not with this wood at all. Cocobolo ages incredibly well, doesn't seem to dry out at all. This batch still had a lot of its original resin in it even after nearly seventy five years of sitting in the factory, so it worked beautifully.

if thats the case, i should stop giving Bill a hard time about all the cocobolo 🤣

Nice work Eric. They look good with the bomb shield. Wish I could’ve got my hands on one.

I read somewhere there were 15 made, 14 were spoken for and 1 was being auctioned.
Yea, if this is going to happen 3-4 times a year I wasnt sure if it was advertised somewhere by Eric or jBF Champlin. I saw the post a while back about something in the works by a mystery builder but that was it.
