Congrats to those of you who snagged one!! The count was 3 water buffalo (wasn't sure if I'd get those done so didn't put them on the email), 12 jigged bone, 5 box elder burl, and 10 Koa.

I tried for the buffalo horn. Personally I liked it better when emails were not sent out and you just had to anticipate and keep checking. But like I mentioned I still enjoyed trying and that’s a good cheap thrill.

This might be my favorite knife from Eric yet. Walk & talk is excellent with a 7 pull from close to half stop and open, back to close. Jigging is gorgeous. Will be in my pocket a ton.

It is definitely incredible. It’s hard to describe, but the Koa has a three dimensional appearance when I rock it back and forth. The action is about a 6 to 7, which is what I prefer.

That effect is called chatoyance, and koa is one of the woods that really shows that. Congrats on that knife - that is a beauty.

I sat this one out because I thought this batch was redundant with knives I have from previous drops, but I regret missing these brown bones. So good!

We call it fiddleback, get it with Aussie woods such as Tasmanian Blackwood and gidgee.
