Does anyone have any feedback or experience for user albert73? I'm looking to buy some Shirogorovs, and at their asking price I just want to be sure. Thank you guys!

He has a negative FB for not sending the box and COA for a Shiro.
Other than that he has bought quite a few knives here.
If you go through with a deal, ask every question you can think of BEFORE sending money and use G&S!!!
Good luck.

Thank you for that insight, it is really appreciated and helpful. I'll go in with some caution.

Joe, I checked his Trading Profile feedback and didn't find any negative there. Did someone start a GBU thread on that no box/no COA one, coz his Profile is immaculate!!!???

Of the 35 feedbacks left for him, 16 are from buyers.

Anyway, I bought a brand new Shiro 111 CF in M390 from Albert last July. It was my second Shiro, but my first new and first knife bought from Russia. I was a certainly nervous about sending that much dough to a stranger overseas, but Albert was patient, cordial, and responsive with me throughout. Albert was great from our initial negotiation, through shipping, and all the way to the end. I got a great knife at a great price. Here's what I wrote for him and I stand behind it 100%--

Very good deal, responsive, great BNIB knife, 10 days from Russia--All Good! A++

Thank you for your feedback, that helps my decision making tremendously and does put me a little more at ease hearing that you had a great experience.

I'm loving the community so far, you guys are so helpful.

That's a pretty good deal on that RDD, if I've got the right thread, SpaceCat. That's a sweet knife for sure and a model I've had to stop myself from buying many times over. Good luck on your transaction, and if it works out for you, don't forget to share some pics and thoughts over at The Bears' Den, our little Shirogorov corner here at BF!

Know what you mean Steve.
Would've appreciated the other side of that story, especially hearing from you how Albert was great to deal with.

The more I read some of those negative GBU threads, Joe, the more I shake my head and wonder why I bother.

I personally had two dealings with Albert73, of which, both times I sold a knife to him. Fast payment, clear communications, no problem whatsoever. He clearly informed me he was in Russia and wanted me to ship to his US based address. Once he actually took possession of the knives, he let me know. However, he went as far as to leave positive feedback as soon as knives were delivered, not when he took possession.....which was very nice of Albert73. To confirm receipt & leave positive feedback after a successful transaction should be basic common courtesy.
