A good while back,Dave22 our forumite had offered to help me with a tooling plate! well,i had just got my mill and was unsure of what i'd need.after using it a while i asked Dave if he could still lend a hand.As cool as he is,Dave said sure!!

After a few of e-mails and daves help we came up with something that would suit my needs nicely.you guys have to understand that i'm a technical moron..,so Dave pretty much set everything up from the start.all i did was give him my mount locations and vice measurements.

When this arrived yesterday i was absolutly blown away!!this is made with such precision i almost dont want to use it..,but ofcourse i will

Dave,i cannot thank you enough for all your help and work that went into this. You DA MAN!!!

18.5 x 7.5" of blanchard ground alcoa mic 6 tooling plate :)
1.25" grid of 5/16-18 holes accross entire plate
Offset center vice mounts,so i can mount it to either side
All holes are blind tapped accept vice mounts, but those are notched so i dont accidentally run a screw into the table.

And get this: my girlfriend arrived home ,looked at it and said "woh, thats one sexy piece of steel" then said "damn,i sound more like you everyday" :) now i just need her to say that about something i make

Fresh out the box:

Just a grizzly mill/drill!! round column kind of suck's..,but the rigidity is there,so i can wor around it :)
