Alert about aggressive, repeated scamming attempts by "jayden.mike1211@icloud" @KarlAndrewBernal​


Starting at 2am Eastern Time on 11/18/2025, I began receiving FaceTime calls, then texts, from someone expecting payment for an item advertised for sale on your auto knife forum by
one of your Gold Members.

The person attempting to contact me was not the real seller, however, but rather a scammer who tried to ambush the transaction by claiming to be the seller. He must have somehow gotten my phone number or email address, though they are not on my profile.


Scammer's information:

"jayden.mike1211@icloud" (this address appeared during his 20 or so attempted FaceTime contacts).

This scammer then texted me at the same number demanding payment very aggressively via PayPal, claiming to be "@KarlAndrewBernal" for PayPal purposes.

Thank you for the warning. You may want to search the archives for old posts that may contain your contact information.
 
Just food for thought, if you have your email or phone number posted here, scammers will try & scam you. DM's are the only way to do business here.

They probably didn’t text you. They probably iMessaged you. If your email address is tied into your phone in anyway they can contact you however they want on iPhone. Also. You’ve posted your email address.

Took about 15 seconds to find your email. Go back and delete it, but…. It’s probably too late. The scammers have it logged in already.

Best to change your email and never do this again, Gold Membership or not.

And post the sales thread so the Super Mods can address this problem.

Spend some time getting to know and interact with the members here, they are a GREAT bunch of people that can be trusted, and outside of the sales exchange only.

There are a lot of different forums to interact with here, start taking advantage of it.

And…. Buy a membership too.
