Any members aside from myself in the Alexandria, Louisiana area? I'd love to meet up and learn something. Still working on my first knife from a Nicholson files and some desert ironwood, wish I had it with me, but I left it at home this hitch...
 
Hey Hickman, I'm from Larto, which is 30 miles south of Jonesville and about an hour east of Alexandria. Not doing much in the shop right now due to the heat. But when it cools off and I get back in the shop you're more than welcome to come for a visit.
 
sounds good Darrin. I see you are up at Larto, my step-brother has a camp up there. :) I'll definitely try to take you up on the offer once it cools off some.
 
Sounds good Hickman. My father owns the only store here at Larto, so if you're ever here just go to the store and tell whoever is working there to call me and I can be there in 3-4 minutes. And if you don't come before it cools off as soon as I get back in the shop daily I'll PM you and let you know.
