Two custom Alien Knives, a DX3 (1095 steel) and Raza (CPM154 steel) along with a production DX2 on the chopping block today. I ordered two customs (DX3 and Raza) from Davo at Alien Knives and they just aren’t for me, I find the rough scale edges and finishes to be ugly and uncomfortable in my hand. The Raza is a pain for me to try to open, you have to slow roll it like a CRK. The Raza came as sharp as a butter knife, I tried to sharpen it but I didn’t hit the tip as well as I should have so now its got a slight hook to it. The DX3 is a giant folder. These just aren’t for me and maybe someone else will like them. I’ve tried to take the best pictures I can (which I’m horrible at) and include video. I’d like to trade all three as a package deal (at a substantial loss) tv550 for all three (includes lanyards and layard beads that they were shipped with. DX-2 comes with no COA, just the knife and lanyard with bead. Prefer U.S. made folders.
