Knifemaker : Songrit Mawan

I'm lucky to know and be a friend with Songrit before he became famous and being considered as one of the best knife maker in Thailand.

This is the last knife of my order before I have to join the queue just like others customer. He has the wait time of 3 years right now which is fortunately and unfortunately at the same time.

It was the first coffin handle bowie and frame handle construction knife that the maker ever made. By far the most time consumed work piece also.
All the pics are took by the maker himself by mobile phone. Apologize if the pics quality is not very good.

WIP will be in the next comment.

10" blade 15" Overall
Frame Handle with heirloom fit carbon fiber scales.
Copper liner
Copper domed pin.
Chad Nichols carbon damascas.
15 ounces

The precision you attain is extraordinary.....beautiful work and knife.

Superb. Such a modern presentation of an ages-old classic, it defies history!

man I love the proportions on this knife. Nice and svelte for it’s length, and it looks wicked in hand.

Thanks guys! this knife is absolutely my grail at the moment. I found the WIP pics take times to load so I hide it.

Nothing beats a coffin handle bowie. That's an exceptional execution of one too. Congrats on such a nice piece.

SUper cool write up, with great detail. Love this knife, and wonderful work. I stickied this thread to my browser knife file.

Yeah that is a friggin' really nice knife. It looks subtly slim in a very good way.
