burnt grizzly,antique amber,brimstone,red wine,burnt grizzly.
bottom l to r
cobblestone,horsecut walnut,grape,golden rod,appalosa,yellow rose, & smooth white.
a person could only collect bone variations of gec & have plenty to do.this company has more types of bone than any in my memory history.

Thanks Dennis, that Cobblestone is a very attractive scale, they could offer more of that.

black mamba i would like to see cobblestone in the larger mdl23 please show some more of your vivid colored early models.next week i may be able to rock your eyeballs.

The Cobblestone finish on my GEC Cattleman is my favorite, nice texture and fabulous color. They need to do more of that cobblestone finish.

Nice collection:thumbup::thumbup:
I think they all look pretty good.
cheers

Nice lookers there, Dennis! I've been peeking off & on for the last 2 hours, and still can't pick out a favorite - they ALL look good!

the burnt grizzly mdl 23 was hideous to myself at 1st as was the smooth white bone. in fact i did'nt even show the b.g. for a long time but the funny thing is how some items actually grow on one after a while. i'm still seriously still looking at the exe whitt in primitive bone.i'm glad to see you guys making good choices in buying gec.

Burnt Grizzly is one of my favorites. I really love that Tidioute Big Jack from 08. I have used that one day in and day out.

I've got a grape toothpick on the way.

I think my favorite bone color is their Blood Red.

Those are some purdy knives. I really like the 4th one over left to right on the bottom row. She's a sure shot beauty! ;)

A great looking collection, Dennis.

Dennis,

I got one of those Grape bone toothpicks today. Nice color! 440C steel, and a limited 1 of 8 run.

That 23 in red wine is very nice. What does the blade look like?

glocktenman the blade is 3.5 in. with swedges. i guess you could call the shape a cross between spear & clip. in the fall i exstensibly tested one of these on cardboard & cutting deer ribs. i rebeveled to an acute angle & it did'nt chip or roll .the 1095 in gec is one of my favorite working alloys.

joebob please let me know how the 440c cuts. i sharpened one up real fine but sent to a buddy & have'nt gotten a definitive report as yet.

I was able to fondle quite a few GEC's at the Pasadena CA knife show. I wish I had fun money to spend. Not that time. I have quite a respect for GEC, and will own some of those. It will be hard to narrow down my options, too many that are nice.
