Valet tray specs:
Cherry wood with black walnut splines.
This Wooden Tray can be used for a Valet Tray, Nightstand Tray, Dresser Tray, or you can use it to keep tract of the items you often misplace.
I hand make and design all of my Trays and Boxes using Domestic and Exotic hardwoods. I cut all four sides out of one single piece of hardwood. This helps to match up the wood grain on each product that is made.
The corners are mitered and a key is cut into each corner. Then a hardwood spline is inserted into the key. This will add stability as well as adding a nice accent.
The bottom is made from Baltic Birch plywood. I use Black Velvet to upholster a pad that is inserted over the Birch panel to provide a more deluxe interior.
This Tray has 3 coats of hand rubbed Poly Finish.
Exterior dimensions
5 1/2" long x 5 1/2" wide x 1 5/8" tall
Interior dimensions
4 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide x 1 1/8" tall
