All I`m going to say is

uh ohhhhhhh, what happened Sylvester, did Tweety Pie get away again or smack ya in the head with an anvil?

Just been one of those weeks in the last
two days. If the devil himself walked though
the door two hours ago, he would had turn
around an left.

Yes it was that bad.

What happened? Did your blade 'curley cue' at heat treat?
Cut your finger?
Belt came off and Bi--h Slapped you or something?
What's up?

It`s a long story but the short one is.

I started to build another grinder & what
could go wrong has gone wrong in spades.

The sad thing is when I was workin as a welder
I would build machines a 100 times bigger with
less trouble

If bigger is what your good at then bigger is the answer. You can never have too much of a grinder. I'd say start with the axle/drivetrain of a late 70's Ford truck, preferably a 4x4 so you get the 2 speed monster transfer case.Lots of choices for contact wheels, maybe have a Grabber MT for rough grinding on one side and a TR on the other side. I'd say P235 75R16 would be the minumum on size, 35X9.50 would be better. And if your feeling ambitious, the 400 small block should be about right on power :)

I've had days/weeks like that. It gets better eventually... or the stress and mistakes build up until you destroy all evidence that you were actually working one something that wasn't turning out right.
