For sale or trade: Complete drum set, everything you need to play tonight!
This is a pro-level set up.
Drums: Tama Superstar Classic CL72S Dark Indigo Burst 7 piece all maple drums, never gigged, only used in a smoke free home for a few jams. Pretty much new condition. If this was on a showroom floor, it would pass for brand new, except for the slight wear on the heads. I have seen new sets at guitar center with more wear than this kit has. If you are serious, I can text you a video of this set being played.
Specs:
Sizes (depth x diameter): 7" x 8", 8" x 10", and 9" x 12" toms; 12" x 14" and 14" x 16" floor toms; 18" x 22" bass drum; 6.5" x 14" snare drum
Thin, 100% maple shells have great attack and projection
45° bearing edges honor the original Superstar
Low-mass, low-profile lugs reduce weight for increased sustain
Star-Mount system won't choke your high toms
Two additional snare drums:
1: Mapex Black Panther pure copper snare 14” x 6”. Weighs about 20 lbs. Sounds amazing.
2: OCDP 13” x 7” maple snare. Great for cranking it up high and getting a ringing Crack!
The original Tama Superstar snare has been upgraded with maple rims for a warmer tone, and more defined rim click. Original rims included.
Cymbals:
All are in excellent, near perfect condition. No cracks, dings, bends or damage what-so-ever
All Piaste. I have the complete set of Paiste Dark Energy Mk 1.
14” Hi-hats
16”, 17”, 18”, 19” crashes
22” ride
Pasite signature splashes in 8” (x2), 10” and 12”
Paiste signature 20” Heavy China
Paiste 900 14” Hi-Hats (set up as X-Hat)
1 Zenero sounds effects cymbal stacked with 8” Paiste signature splash, sounds like a shimmering, light china.
Paiste 15” Big Beat Hi-Hats
Paiste 2002 20 China 1978 vintage, almost 50 years old! Sounds incredible!
Also included is a 14” Paiste Innovations crash that I found on Craigslist. It was a clock, but it is a real cymbal. It has a small crack on the edge. I could not let it go to waste as a clock so I rescued it from obscurity.
All Tama hardware, all boom stands except for the ride cymbal stand which is a straight stand.
Tama Iron Cobra double pedal and two-leg Hi-Hat stand.
Roc-N-Soc gas throne.
Stick Bag with new Vic Firth Steve Gadd model sticks, mallets, brushes etc. One soft snare case and a heavy duty cymbal bag are included. I also have a set of new, coated heads for this kit.
I have well over $6500.00 into this set up. I will sell it for $4500.00 cash, or I will trade for any of the following:
Will trade all or partial for knives, but it better be some serious hardware! Not looking for 150 production knives. Would consider a trade for up to 10 pieces of high quality/custom stuff.
Harley Softail; no Sportsters, please, I am 6’4” and I just won’t fit.
American v-twin Chopper
Kawasaki ZX-14R
Suzuki Hayabusa
Gold or Silver bullion
2A items
I can add a couple grand for the right motorcycle, if necessary.
I am in no hurry to sell, no low-ballers (don’t waste your time or mine). I will not break up the set or piece it out. What you see is what you get. I am a former professional drummer and I was going to start paying again, but have decided to concentrate on other hobbies.
