All-Metal Knives

Yes GT, they were fun to gather! Around where I grew up there were a few of these too. Although much later versions I think. Hey Jack, the Richards sure do resemble the Imperials huh? I wonder if there was some kind of contract thing between the two companies?

They certainly do Perry, they did a lot of the same patterns. I believe that both companies were licensees to the German patent for this type of knife, and later Imperial-Schrade acquired Richards. My dad used to work at the Richards factory.

Here's a little Lakota Teal from the '80s, made by Seki. This was my EDC early on when I wore a suit Monday through Friday.

I agree, S-K, those are marvelous knives!! What are the handles? Some kind of bronze? I love the "scenes" engraved on the covers!
