thank you sir. I love that blade. it was between that and the large spike hawk for my last purchace but the hawk won me over. that is a great great blade though. piggy back it with one of the smallers and you would have a great woods bumming combo imo

Any reason(s) in particular that caused you to not care for it?
I am thinking the cutting edge is a bit far from the tang for close work while choking up, but aside from that, I can see it compete with a Becker BK4 type of knife...

It looks like it could be a "jack of all trades, ace of none" type of thing. That being said, it looks like a decent chopper with the weight forward design.

It looks like it could be a "jack of all trades, ace of none" type of thing. That being said, it looks like a decent chopper with the weight forward design.

To me it was more chopper than knife. You want to chop, you use an axe.
