Hello, this is my first for sale custom knife! I am very excited about this one, but, before I list it, let me tell you a little bit about myself as this is the first time I have listed a knife on blade forums.

My name is Alex Richards, I started making knives in the summer of 2013 and have been selling to friends and family to help feed my addiction to knife making. I got my makers mark (Harden Knives) from my mothers side of the family, my grandfather, Thomas Harden, Is a legendary hunter in my eyes and accepts nothing but the best blades to aid him on his hunts. My goal as a knifemaker, is only to make blades that reflect the pride and respect I have for my family name and my grandpa Harden.

That being said, lets take a look at this one.

Overall blade length: 7.75"
Cutting edge: 3.875'
Blade length:3.50
Handle material: resinwood and stainless pins
Sheath: Kydex.

$140 shipped.(PayPal only for now)

I designed this knife with, thin edge geometry, comfortable handle and scratch resistance in mind.

The handles are reverse color resinwood, (natural oak and black), and satin polished stainless steel pins.

These scales are known to grow darker and richer over time, creating a beautiful patina unique to your knife.

Thin flat grind with definitive flats but enough metal behind the tip to pierce.

The blade has what I call a semi-mirror polish, (800 grit hand rubbed horizontally, then buffed with chrome rouge).
You can easily see your reflection but not as prone to scratches.
(ignore the bandaid in the picture, this bugger is sharp)

The sheath is .080 black kydex sanded to 200 grit and is tech-lok compatable.

Sheath fits quite snug but with enough space so as to provide easy cleaning and is less likely to scratch.

First ill take it gets the knife!

Thanks for looking, I would appreciate any feedback on the knife, pictures or description of the knife.

Alex.

That is a very nice looking knife. Handles are gorgeous, that reverse color is a neat idea. I hope you stick with that. The blade finish looks superb, just a little too much belly for my personal taste. I like pointy blades.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of your work.
