RJ Martin Liner Lock (non-flipper). Around 4” blade, 8.7” OAL (open). Weight: 138g (= 4.9 ounces). Got this directly from Les Robertson in the early 2000’s, I think it was called a Q-35 at that time, and RJ Martin and Les Robertson did another numbered Vanguard D/A version called U235 (which looks exactly the same, but it’s marked Vanguard, says “U235” on one bolster, and it’s a D/A) – this is the manual version, not the Vanguard D/A version. When I bought it RJ had not yet come out with the Q-36 flipper, so I think this dates from just before that, maybe 2004-2005. It features a satin finish recurve blade (unmarked but I’m pretty sure it’s S30V), with a false top edge, dual thumbstuds (with some sort of rubber-ish ends which are quite grippy, and make the knife very easy to open), and a notched thumbrest. The handle has satin finished titanium bolsters, carbon fiber scales, titanium liners, titanium pocket clip, tip down titanium clip, and a black G-10 back-spacer. Very light folder, very very good detent, blade seating and lockup. Would come with zippered case. Excellent condition – the bolsters have some very very faint snail trails, and the clip has faint scratches, I’d rate it at 97%. SOLD, includes PP fees and shipment through FedEx
