It's one of my favorites. Some saw teeth on the spine and a lanyard hole would make it just about perfect. There was some talk of coming out with Nighthawks in an upgraded steel; that would be great. Still, it's a great knive and in typical Buck fashion, a good value.
Yep mate, the nighthawk is not much on show but very
long on go. The 'hawk is by far one of my best users.
I beat this poor knife without mercy with not a complaint
or failure. Need a shovel?? no problem ....out come the
'hawk. Forget your ax? No problem ...hand me a rock
or log and we'll pound this bad boy through this tree.
Skin a deer? Yep, no sweat! Stand back while I carve this
animal up.
I can't tell you how many knives I DIDN'T buy because they
weren't better than the 'hawk.... just different. To bad most
fella's want a flashy knife they often miss the really good ones
such as the Buck Nighthawk.
