Y'know... I only own one solitary Schrade in my whole collection of knives. I've been meaning to post a photo of it on here for some while.
Its a 340T Old Timer
I do carry it quite regularly. It a'int one of those pretty pretty knives. But I really love it. And it takes a magical edge that can stroke the hairs off the back of your arm. I have no idea of its age, and know nothing about Schrade knives, other than that this one has that gorgeous grey patina that can only come with carbon steel. And it has a really great reassuring snap to it.

Rod, I'm with you on the OT gray patina and ease of sharpening. The 34OT is a very comfortable size for the pocket too. Most of the time I carry the smaller 108OT (three blade), but when I am working construction, I need a bigger stainless, so the 897UH goes with me everywhere. Of course, now that hunting season is past for me, my favorite EDC sheath knife, the 165OT Woodsman is cleaned, sharpened and oiled for next year's hunts.
