This knife does have the issues that some of them had but they are minor. The main blade rubs on the secondary when opening/closing. There is a mark but it's very minor and difficult to photograph. Also, the edge of the main blade hits the backspring when closing and resulted in a small ding in the edge. It's also very minor and difficult to photograph. I'm not a sharpening expert but it looks it will sharpen out quite easily. Then, I guess will work best if closed carefully. In spite of these issues it's a very nice knife and a bit of history being produced at the end of Canal Street's existence and a forum knife that is the result of the selfless work of several forum members.
