I am continuing to downsize my collection these days. I am offering for sale 3 very fine slipjoints by Ray Cover, Sr.
Ray's work is well known and respected in the traditional custom knifemaker and collector world. I have owned these 3 for a number of years. They are all like new with the exception of typical very light signs of handling on the bolsters of the 2 with bolsters. All have centered blades, flush backsprings in all positions, excellent walk and talk, and original edges. I have owned quite a few of Ray's folders over the years and he usually provides a firm, not nail-breaker, but firm backspring pull. No blade play in any of these.
I have numbered these as they appear from top to bottom in the photos for reference.
1. SOLD. 3.75" closed, dovetailed stainless bolsters, D2 blade, exceptionally nice ivory linen micarta with black liners. Original edge but could use stropping to tune it up.
2. SOLD. Now just $275. 3.75" closed dark green linen micarta with red liners, shadow pattern with ATS34 wharncliffe blade. Rayzor sharp. Now just $275.
3. SOLD. 3.5" closed beautiful stag scales with red liners, dovetailed stainless bolsters, ATS34 blade...a real beauty! Rayzor sharp.
I am pricing these at what I consider to be very affordable and less than they cost from maker.
Take the last one for $275, payment by paypal only (not the "gift" option). I'll cover paypal fee. Price includes USPS priority shipping with tracking number in ConUS only. Prompt payment is expected. No trades at this time, thank you. I reserve the right not to sell if reputation is questionable or behavior has been poor. Buyer is responsible for conforming to your local regulations.
If you have any questions, please use email or PM to inquire.
Please post here (unless you prefer not to) and then PM or email if you want one. First person expressing specific intent to purchase will get it.

Thanks for looking.
Just snapped these simple shots a little while ago. My good camera has a dead battery so I won't be adding extra photos, but as I indicated above, none of these have any issues other than the already mentioned handling marks on the bolsters of the 2 with bolsters.
