#73 Farmer/Scout (Collectorknives.net SFO), Ebony
This is an SFO that you don’t see around too often, especially in ebony (in fact, I have only ever seen 2 of the ebony and I own both of them. Not sure on production numbers.) These have satin blades with no etch on an otherwise Northfield setup (cloud shield, lined bolsters etc) and a great matchstriker pull. Since I am keeping one as a favorite user, I’ve decided to sell my spare. This comes with one of the Collectorknives steel bails added to the lanyard hole, which I think is a classy and classic touch that I have on both of my Farmers.
On this particular knife there are a few things to mention. First is the obvious: the former owner worked an EO notch into the frame, and it’s not a bad job if I do say so myself. The other small point to make is that there is a tiny crack on either side of the ebony cover, by the lanyard hole. I would seal it with some thin CA glue and be done with it if I were using it, but I’m not using this one, so it’s as is. Nice firm snap (5/10), and factory edge.
So, a relatively rare knife with a few characteristics that probably make it a user for someone. $OLD to your door.

#73 Scout, liner lock, Burnt Stag
This is from the most recent run of 73s with, again, my favorite match striker nail nick. I went for the liner lock version and it thwacks into place quite nicely, and the stag covers are matched in thickness for a nice handhold. The real draw with this knife is that its pull is a very manageable 5-6 which is an anomaly among the current run of 73s. It has been sharpened and used to slice a few apples and sausage, but this kind of young patina could also be polished out pretty quick too. $89 to your door.

#54 Big Jack, Burnt Stag
This is one of my favorite big (4 1/8”) patterns and I just had to get the classic stag version to try it out. It is an amazing example of GEC’s expertise in big burly slip joints and is a bona fide user. It has a deep patina (probably some form of bluing) on both blades, as well as patina on the back springs. The stag scales are warm and smooth to the touch and fill your hand nicely. Finally, the bevels on this one have been thinned and reworked so that these blades just fall through material effortlessly. If I wasn’t an office worker this would be in a belt sheath most days - it is just that nice. Great snap at 5-6 with half stops and no blade play. Looking at $79 to your door.

#65LB Ben Hogan Lockback, Copperhead Bone, GEC FACTORY EDC MODEL
This is one of GEC’s best bone dye and jigging jobs in my opinion, also seen on the 76 Outlaw. This svelte 4.5” knife is new in the tube. It has the “S” stamped over the pile side tang stamp to indicate a factory EDC or blemish, which I believe was due to a very slight overspinning of one of the pile side pins (see pics). An insignificant cosmetic flaw to me, and I believe this would make a great user or collector piece. Typical smooth/easier pull of a lock back, and factory edge. $69 to your door.

#55 Houndstooth, Wharncliffe blade, liner lock, Autumn bone
These became really popular after GEC released them last year and I can see why. Great pattern and looks like it’d be a real cutter. This example has really excellent F&F with a strong snap at 6-7, half stop, and a liner lock. I believe I stropped this one to get it sharp but it has never been carried or used so I’m calling it minty fresh. I keep waffling on selling this one but since I have a Viper I figure this one is redundant.
They’re not going to be around forever…this one is $75 to your door.

#48 Diamond Jack SFO, Old Tan Bone
Charlie’s beauty. Fondled but never carried/used. The saber-ground clip blade is a thing of beauty. $OLD shipped to you.

#15 Radio Knife, Blood Red Jigged Bone
This is a mint example of the wonderful red jigged bone that GEC released with the first run of Radio knives (barehead, clip blade w/ original Radio etch, and caplifter/screwdriver.) All steel construction, this one had the scales waxed but never carried or used. I’m only selling this because I carry the Antique Yellow Bone version more and just got Charlie’s SFO as well. Firm pull at 5-6, no blade play, all solid. I’m only selling it to afford more #15s…
I don’t think these are available anywhere anymore so $OLD to your door.

Take all knives in this thread for $500... :D
