Darrell Ralph S90V Frame Lock Folder w/ Blue Mammoth Overlay

  • EDC Model, with a slight recurve. Very utilitarian blade. Frame lock, with a 3.5” blade of CPM 420V (now S90V) blade with bead blasted grinds, hand rubbed flats, some texturing around the double thumbstuds.
  • Deep pocket carry clip, blue anodized titanium frame, double thumbstuds.
  • This knife needs to go back to Darrell for an adjustment of the frame lock tension and approach angle to tang. There is a little bit of play in the lockup. I think it’s an easy fix for Darrell. If you are interested in this knife, shoot me an email at rdangerer@gmail.com and I’ll give you first shot at it when I get it back from Darrell.
  • $500 as-is, plus $11 shipping + $8 insurance (CONUS).

Darrell Ralph Apogee frame lock with 3-7/8” Damasteel blade.


  • I’m not exactly sure what the deal is with Damasteel, but this knife has always taken and held a great edge... fine grained powder metallurgy steel, based on ATS-34 (or RWL-34) blend, but I can’t swear to that... and don't recall other ingredient. Short of a Mike Norris damascus blade, this is about as good a damascus edge holder as there is out there.
  • Carried, used lightly, in very good to excellent condition overall if you intend to carry it. It’s not in “like new” condition for those interested in a safe queen, but I suspect Darrell could bring it up to nearly-new if you wanted a refurb (I haven’t price this with Darrell). See the pics please.
  • Solid lockup. Frame lock is a tad past dead center. See the pics.
  • $499 + $11 shipping CONUS + $10 insurance.
Terms:

  • Paypal strongly preferred, and I’ll split the 3.4% costs with buyer.
  • USPS Money Order a very distant second place.
  • No overseas shipments… except maybe Canada if buyer accepts all risks once I provide proof of shipment and insurance.
  • Buyers must be 18 years of age.
  • Prefer to ship UPS or Fedex Ground for tracking reasons. If you insist on USPS please advise.
