Bought new and was surprised that the previous owner put a very nice 30 degree inclusive edge (sharpened on a Wicked Edge or Apex Pro) on it and never used it. I switched the clip to a standard 3 screw clip, applied a drip of blue Loctite to the pivot threads, and carried it a handful of times. Other than opening mail and boxes, I tested the tip and thinner edge out by opening a couple of cans.... I didn't use care either to see what would happen. See pictures for the damage.... mostly rolling to one side with some chipping. 5 or 10 minutes on a medium grit Sharpmaker stone @ 40 degrees will sharpen it out - I would have done it myself but this is a hard user so I'll let the next person decide if they want to or not. Tight lockup, perfect centering, and very smooth. Knife was never abused or spine-whacked etc. etc. etc. Original box and deep carry clip included

Rare plain edge M2 AFCK with full titanium liners. Bought NIB, carried it once or twice around the house, cut up a cardboard box and some Saturday mail, then stashed it away with a light coat of gun oil on the blade to prevent corrosion. There's a few minor scuffs in the coating and a shallow scratch on the back of the blade.... tried the best I could to capture any wear marks. Original factory edge - never sharpened.
I've had a handful of these pass through my hands over the years and this is hands down the best example I've gotten.... near perfect centering, strong lockup (no vertical or horizontal play), great detent, sharp edge from the factory, and just all around very nicely finished for a production knife.
