Case ‘Greenbone’ 62024 1/2 - $90
This is one of my favorite Case patterns going back to the early years of the company. This USA made swell end jack was made between 1920 and 1940. The tang is stamped ‘Case, TESTED XX’. The handles are a pretty green bone with no cracks. I’ve tried to capture the color in my photos. The clip and pen blades have very good snap at the half stop, open, and closed. The blades are tight. Bolsters are nickel silver, liners are brass. A nice piece of history.
Schrade Walden 708 - $35 **Sold**
This is a great little knife. The tang is stamped ‘SCHRADE, WALDEN, N.Y. U.S.A.’ on one side and ‘708’ on the other. I believe it was manufactured between 1946 and 1973. It has very nice jigged handles. The long pull on the main blade is well done. Nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. It is only about 2 3/4” long. Excellent snap to the blades, it is very clean.
