I have a bunch of REALLY nice curly/flame maple blocks. These are all big solid blocks, defect free as far as I can tell. These are natural eastern hard maple blocks. Very bold, tight curl and flame figure. Curl is highly visible in all light from any angle. This is about as good as maple gets.
Prices include shipping to the US. Paypal preferred but I will take a check or money order if necessary.
US sales only ***UNLESS*** you buy 3 or more blocks and you agree to pay the actual shipping charges. I WILL NOT be responsible for the package once it leaves the US. That includes whatever hang ups, delays or confiscations may happen in customs. Also, I WILL NOT declare a lower value so that you don't have to pay an import tax or fee. I will declare the actual value of the package.

These can take a beautiful oil finish either natural or stained/dyed. Here's a sample piece with very similar figure. I've contoured and sanded it to 1000 grit and stained it with Fiebing's brown leather dye on half and left half natural. Then I finished the whole piece with an oil finish to show the beauty and boldness of a finished piece, whether left natural or stained.
